Bench Flashing ProcedureUnitronic UniPro Programming and Diagnostic Interface5 If UniPRO is unable to collect the VIN from the ECU, it will prompt you to enter the VIN. It is very important to enter the VIN 100% accurately.6Next, UniPRO collect the stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and display them for review. Please review the DTCs to determine if any will result in problems during or after the Performance Software Flash. If you’re flash- ing an ECU on the bench, since the ECU is not connected to the any of its sensors, the list of stored DTCs will be lengthy.
