DSG Bench Flashing ProcedureUnitronic UniPro Programming and Diagnostic InterfaceUnitronic’s DSG Bench Flash Harness is utilized to perform a read or recovery of the DSG Mechatronic TCU.DSG Performance Software files can be programmed via the OBD-II port, but in the event that Unitronic does not have software available on the DDMS for that particular TCU ID/Revision #, a full read of the TCU is necessary before submitting a File Request.Below, you will find the procedure on how to use the DSG Bench Flash Harness to perform a full read of the TCU memory.1 The DSG diag port is located under the hood, on the front of the transmission/Mechatronic unit,. To gain access to this port, you must start by removing the filter element portion of the airbox.(NOTE: This guide is using a 100% stock vehicle.
