After a breakthrough year marked by 4 victories and 6 podium finishes, the Unitronic JDC-Miller Motorsports team finds themselves at the top of the championship leaderboard heading into the 10th and final round of the 2024 IMPC season.
Just a couple of weeks ago in Indianapolis, drivers Chris Miller and Mikey Taylor made the most of their visit to the Brickyard after qualifying P2 and finishing P3. This was quite an achievement, considering the unfavorable BOP measures imposed on the #17 Audi. The reduced fuel capacity forced them to make one more pit stop than their Hyundai competitors to complete 70 laps around the fast 2.6-mile circuit. Despite the challenge, the team managed to hold on to their championship lead, which they’ve maintained since the start of the season, heading into the Road Atlanta finale.
Taylor Ready to Finish Strong

We have battled through the highs and lows and no matter what was thrown at us, we had a smile on our faces, we enjoyed our time together and we pushed on. We find ourselves in a great position to accomplish a dream we all had a few years ago and I’m ready to get the #17 onto the track and do what is needed to win this championship for the entire Unitronic JDC-Miller team and all of our supporters.” said Mikey Taylor.
2024 Championship Title Within Reach
In 2023, the team rolled into Braselton, GA fired up to pull off a championship upset. Chris Miller took the pole but luck wasn’t on the team’s side when an input shaft failure would cut the final race of the season short and ultimately end any hopes of a championship win. This year, things look a little bit different sitting at the top of the leaderboard but the team still has a bit of work ahead of them to secure the illustrious championship title.
GMP On-Board for Second Race this Year
After having already joined the team at VIR in August, Unitronic Authorized Dealer GMP Performance will be back to support once more this weekend.
